Volunteer for rural health & Action
The Volunteers for Rural Health and Action, commonly known as VORHA, a registered NGO, H.O. Slopeland Complex, BPO- Khongjom - 795148, Thoubal, Manipur- India have been serving rural and urban people in the field of the socio-economic and health development for years and also playing an important role in the field of the rural development as well as industrial development of the area and the whole nation at large and serving needy people in the area. In the principle of needy people of serving those needy people, the organization has been implementing various programmes through Ministry and Department, like Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), North Eastern Council, etc. and also individual and body institutions.
The organization is functioning successfully a Senior Citizen Home at the complex of Slopeland Public School, Khongjom with 25 women inmates. The home is established from the year 1992 , which is sponsored by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India.
Mobile Dispensary project is going on in Chandel District, Manipur.
SFURTI Scheme (Carpentry Cluster) is going on ,in Wangjing and Kairembikhok Villages Thoubal District , Manipur.
